The Rundown: The family’s mission takes some dark turns as the jinoo infection grows.

Joseph has been taken by a new breed of Jinoo and no one knows if he is alive or dead. After contacting home, Blink asks about Meriah and her mission. Dr. Sylvester decides to go after Joseph and reveals the reason why he hasn’t aged since the late 20’s.
Back in town, Meriah deals with the locals alongside Agent Chase and they discuss his partner Steele and his very real prejudice as they investigate the missing freedom riders. As the two agents go hunting for a possible location where the bodies might have been taken, they run into not only Sylvester in the woods, but a bigger threat in the town sheriff.
The Story: Walker and Brown deliver a beautifully thrilling and engaging story in this issue. The mystery continues to be compelling and the tension both with the monsters and the town continue to intrigue me as everything unfolds. There is great character development throughout the issue and the cliffhanger has some awesome thrills and made me excited to see what happens in the next issue.
The Art: Greene’s art is beautifully detailed and has a fluidity that drew my eye to every page and panel. Truly stunning art throughout the issue.
